  • Attended San Jose State University; Worked for the Campus Paper - Had a small column for special events, but was mostly the paper photographer. Received a photography internship for National Geographic.

  • Specialized in nature photography.
  • Is an avid diver; the ocean is her second home.
  • Can speak Russian; her mother was born and raised in Russia. Is also fluent in Spanish and Italian.
  • Is an avid horseback rider. She started doing so as a young child, and has continued to do so as an adult. She loves the freedom that comes with it. She owns her own horse who she loves like her baby.
  • Currently has one cat, She found her out in the snow during one of her trips, and took her home with her. She is now spoiled rotten.
  • Spent a week in Madrid while in college for her journalism degree. It was an experience she would never forget. She's been back a few more times since then.

    PERSONALITY
  • Impatient & time conscious; Natalya understands that things can take time, but she isn't always too fond of the wait. She likes to keep herself busy to distract herself from it.
  • Controlling; As negative as a trait as it can be at times, Natalya has a tendency to use it to her benefit as well -- being a photographer, there isn't much control to what she does, and has learned to roll with the punches, but her personal life is much more organized, and everything she does has a purpose to it.
  • Competitive & Ambitious; Natalya is a very competitive person. She absolutely despises the idea of failure, and will do just about anything to make sure it doesn't happen. She's had to make more than a few sacrifices throughout her life, but in the long run she has never regretted them.
  • Workaholic; One of the best and worst things about Natalya is her work ethic. She puts work first, and has put her personal life in the backburner because of it. It has given her a very successful career and a not so much personal life.
